Doc Waldrop Infinite Designs, LLC
Doc Waldrop brings more than 25 years of experience in theatrical lighting and overall technical production to the meetings, special events, convention, motion picture, and association industries.
His lighting designs and installations have garnered praise and awards from international and Fortune 500 companies and have been featured in many industry magazines. Working in collaboration with such industry notables as CSEP's Tim Lundy, John Daly, Patti Coons, and Mary Tribble, his work has garnered national awards including coveted ISES Esprits and Special Event Magazine Galas. He has won numerous ISES/NACE Atlanta Allie Awards over the years since 1995 in the Best Use of Lighting and Best Use of Audio Visual categories.
He has held an executive board position with the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the International Special Events Society for the past four years and has most recently been honored with the 2003 Dale Riggins Humanitarian Award from ISES Atlanta and the 2003 Spotlight Award for Technical Producer of the Year from Event Solutions Magazine. Additionally, he is a founder and co-chair of the annual Solutions Scramble Golf Tournament benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation local affiliates held in conjunction with the Event Solutions Expo.
In his spare time (what little there is of it), Doc enjoys ripping up mountain roads on his motorcycle, playing a competitive game of pool, darts, or croquet, and chasing his young son around the house. Mr. Waldrop currently resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife and Goddess, the equally charming Shanna Waldrop, a creative writer for the special events industry.
